This Christmas we’re making dreams come true with the launch of ‘Bistro Greggs’ - the first of its kind at Fenwick, Newcastle.

Set to be one of the hottest new restaurant openings this year – and for the first time in our combined 225-year history - we’re teaming up to create the ultimate 80-cover dining experience serving exquisite iterations of our favourite menu items paired with Fenwick Food Hall wines and a signature cocktail – the Pink Jammie Fizz created by cocktail experts, Mother Mercy.

Do you think you’ve seen our iconic Greggs Festive Bake at its best? Think again. Served a-la-carte with delicious duck-fat roasties, smoked pancetta, chestnuts and sprouts with a pouring of silky gravy – it’s a definite 10/10. The Steak Bake is also taken to new culinary heights accompanied by truffled creamy dauphinoise potatoes, green beans and a sprinkling of almonds. To finish, choose from a selection of sweet treats including a Greggs Yum Yum with caramel sauce and macadamia brittle and “Tea and Cake” which presents our Christmas Cake Slice paired with an Earl Grey infused Créme Brûlée served in a teacup – voila!

The indulgent, Gallic-inspired menu, created exclusively between Greggs and Fenwick executive chef, Mark Reid, will see interpretations of our menu enhanced through Fenwick culinary flair and gastronomic excellence.

For breakfast and brunch, don’t miss out on the “Greggs Benedict” – the Greggs Sausage, Bean and Cheese Melt reimagined with smoked ham, poached Cacklebean eggs and a velvety Hollandaise sauce. Our ‘Full English’ celebrates the icon that is the Greggs Sausage Roll alongside bacon, mushroom, tomato, baked beans and a choice of eggs – scrambled, poached or fried. The dish also comes as a vegetarian and vegan option.

If you’re feeling a bit fancy then our “High Tea” for two, allows diners to enjoy a three-tier sharing brunch. Topped with a Sausage Roll and Sausage, Bean & Cheese Melt - the sweet options include a Peach Melba, Yum Yum Bites paired with chocolate sauce and banana, alongside a Greggs Croissant and Pain au Chocolat. “High Tea” can be paired with a variety of drinks including a cafetiere of freshly ground coffee or a festive hot drink.

Launching on Friday 1st December and running to New Year’s Eve on 31st December, Bistro Greggs will be an all-day dining destination, serving a limited-edition breakfast, brunch and lunch menus from a Parisian-inspired designed space on the department store’s first floor, where guests will walk through a lattice-style pergola front entrance in a playful nod to our signature pastry designs. Inside, the experience takes inspiration from the traditional bistros of Saint-Germain featuring white-clothed tables, velvet banquette seating, oak-effect flooring and marble countertops.

Tables are available to book in advance, with some tables reserved for walk-ins – but book now to avoid disappointment. With lots to choose from on the menu, why book just once when you can dine time and time again…
