For more than twenty years the Greggs Foundation has been making a difference to people in need at the heart of Greggs' local communities.
The Greggs Foundation was established by Ian Gregg in 1987, with the aim of putting something back into the communities where Greggs operates. It started from very humble origins, making small grants in the North East of England and has developed into an organisation giving out in excess of £1 million per year through its grant programmes.

We are pleased to announce total sales growth of 2.9% and like-for-like sales growth of 0.7% for the first 26 weeks of 2010. Derek Netherton, Chairman, said , "Despite the challending trading environment, I believe that Greggs remains on track to deliver another year of progress."
A team of Greggs Directors and staff have completed a 900 mile bakery bike ride, raising a whopping £76,000 for BBC Children in Need and Greggs Breakfast Clubs.
